Yeah me too, PPF is the tour I'd most like to have seen. Especially the night with God Save The Manics EP. 3 ace tracks.

HOT TAKE INCOMING

Picturesque is way better than the JFLP tracks it became. And it's my top 10 manics tracks for sure.

PPF was 2005, 2007 was the mid-size venue tour around the release of SATT.

Agree, though Picturesque was far more "complete" than the bits and pieces they cobbled together for JFPL.

BTW, the God Save the Manics tracks are all on the Japanese edition of Lipstick Traces, making it indispensable!

The Anchoress now talking about a collaboration album. I’m putting 2+2 together here...

From little bits and pieces I've heard over the last few years, my guess is that there will be some JDB input on her main album, but the collaboration album is with Bernard Butler - I could be wrong though! Either way, really excited for new music from her

Ah ok, I wasn’t aware of the Bernard Butler thing.

I linked junkymotown’s interview and this tweet and thought I had cracked it.

You may well be right, I am only putting two and two together myself!

And actually, doing a bit of googling, this interview suggests that her own second album is actually with Bernard producing, but this one talks about a collaboration with Bernard. BUT her instagram post talks about a secret collaboration - and the Bernard collaboration isn't secret - so perhaps it's JDB after all!

It's all very intriguing! Nothing like a bit of detective work on a Friday morning

I’m very optimistic about there being no Autumnsongs.

*pushes glasses up nose
So technically it's James's third solo album then?
The Great Western
His soundtrack to that underwater submarine thing (I wanted to say "The Descent" but that was another film)
And this forthcoming one.

Hah, yes. The Chamber.

I wonder if the title will start with 'The' again?!

Good news anyway. I wish Sean would do a solo album too.
