Nicky at the South Bank last night
Sir Nick was in good form last night and it was a good event. All of the participants had to nominate a video that had inspired them and he chose This Charming Man. He hung around to chat to fans afterwards. He said that they were excited about their support band in Japan but wouldn't say who it was! They haven't sorted the support act for the European leg yet. My friend asked whether Revol would be one of the songs that they would ditch and he said nope, Revol stays. We asked how his knees would hold up and he said he had two MRI scans on them yesterday!

I went last night, thought the talk was really interesting. Got to meet Nicky afterwards my first time meeting him, I probably acted like a pathetic little girl but I'm so glad that I've met him now. Got my ticket signed and photos, he's so lovely. Overall had a great night.

He was very generous with his time afterwards. I am just so glad that I didn't make the same point as Verity (which I had already mentioned to my friend) about the lack of reference to lesbians as I wouldn't have liked to have to got up on stage to join the panel. She did really well!

We were told not to take pictures during the talk, I'm not sure if anyone official did though, and he didn't mention the book in the talk at least
