Couldn't help thinking of Nicky when reading this:

Daft article. I wear mine sometimes from outside if I walk into a shop or whatever, I sometimes forget I have them on to be honest. I don't think about trying to be cool or not or anything, I don't think anything about them. Nicky can wear his shades like he always has done over the years, as can anyone.

The reason that "celebs" wear shades, apart from trying to look cool, is because of either the flash from the paps cameras or the lights from filming. People think the Kardashians and all those guys are pretentious pricks walking outta restaurants with sunglasses on but if you had 50 paps with flashes blinding you you would wear sunglasses too.

Agree about the 50 paps but studio lighting? Really? If it was that bad presenters would be squinting all the time

I find it more pretentious and silly to tell other people what they should and shouldn't wear.

The only time I might leave them on indoors is if I'm on a bus or train sat by the window on a sunny day. Aside from that I always take them off indoors. But then I don't often get people taking my picture.

I sometimes have to wear my shades indoors at work because of the fluorescent lighting, which can give me bad eye pains at times. My shades are prescription otherwise I'd be able to see fuck all! Sometimes there are reasons for these things

Same for me. I don't see any point in carrying my glasses around with me to put on when I go inside or into shops etc when I'm out.

I don't even wear shades outside on a sunny day. That's how cool I am.

Honestly, he should keep the shades. It's the half-squint (or fully closed eyes) behind the shades that looks...odd.
