Are the claims in Revol fair?

Having studied 20th century history for some years back in the day... I sometimes wonder where the claims in Revol came from?

I mean, the first verse is obviously much more outlandish...
Mr Lenin awaken the boy (Lenin = paedophile?)
Mr Stalin bisexual epoch (Stalin = bisexual?)
And the claim that 'failure' is Yeltsin's impotence... well, I always figured it was brewers' droop... but still.
Or am I reading these too literally?

The second verse... bit more vague. But Farrakhan, alimony? Not sure he's ever been divorced.

Plus, then how does the chorus fit with the general theme?
Lebensraum (Hitler's pet project for living space for his people)
Kulturkampf (Cultural struggle)
Raus Raus (Out! Out!)
Fila Fila (something along the lines of 'in a line!' or 'line up!'.

Just wondered.
I put this track in my top 3 THB songs to someone the other day...
... and tonight started wondering.
Ta,
J

I don't think the claims in Revol are meant to be taken seriously

It makes me want to explore the lyrics again in more depth! Never have the time anymore though

Thanks for that, in 20 years I've never been able to make out what James sings, now if you could just put up the rest of the song

(Also about 90% of their back catalogue, James such a good singer but I've always had trouble making out what he sings)

Haha, no. But I was tired and full of cold when posting that...

I just wondered how much of it was meant in a joke/light-hearted way, and how much was meant as actual criticism of these people's private lives.

Why don't you try reading the lyrics in the booklet?!

Isn't it more of a general thing of "these fuckers could be up to anything"?

I mean Patrick Rock for starters.
