Can't believe the 3 cd version is limited to 3000 copies (an actually rare manics rarity!) Even more surprised at the price now

i think if anything it will be "initially" limited to 3000 copies. the NT box set was supposed to be "limited edition", but the fact that it goes from out of stock to available suggests - wisely - that they will press more if there is the demand for it.

So 3000? Or a limited edition of 300, which is what their Facebook says.

Or "Limited to 30. I love this edition!", which is what James Dean Bradfield, Manic Street Preachers might say.*

*but in reality didn't.

I don't know if this special edition is worth it for me really, it's an extra £30 for a CD that's half filled with bsides I already have remastered in the NT box, a 10" I'll rip to mp3 and a replica press pass I'll listen to once.

However the completist in me has to have it.

Somewhat tied between the two higher-end editions. Although I still haven't got round to getting National Treasures (nothing on it I haven't seen), and it's kinda the same with this...

But surely the completist in you would have to own all four formats anyway?

Could be worse. Imagine being a Led Zeppelin completist.

On a related note, amazon.co.uk is never going to get around to putting a price on the GT vinyl. It's been on Amazon's other sites for weeks now. Looks like HMV and Rough Trade are the only places where it's available to order in the UK.

It's to make sure you don't get them mixed up with your original copy!
