This is actually a thing. It actually happened.



So you've seen what part of the forum this has been posted in. You knew it was going to happen.

Who wants (Apart from me) to see a cartoon film where Scooby Doo meets the Manics?

And there's so much potential!
Instead of making a giant sandwich, JDB cooks something up for Scooby and Shaggy!
Nicky complains that Daphne isn't as well drawn as she used to be. (I mean she doesn't even wear purple tights any more)
And Sean can demonstrate his technical prowess to Velma!

"Now let's see who's really behind Nieko Wuree!"

And this thread would have gotten away with it if it wasn't for the diminishing contributions to this forum in general!

So yeah. "Scooby Doo Meets Manic Street Preachers".
Should I set up a kickstarter to make it happen?

I fucking love the (hypothetical) in the thread title!

I prefer the idea of the Manics AS the Scooby Doo gang myself. Who would be which character? Ok, there's five of them, but do your best.

Not thought about them being Scooby Doo characters but I'll sleep on it.

James can be Shaggy (hit-and-miss with shaving! eats in the right way!), Sean can be Velma (technical gadgets! deadpan comments!), Wire makes a brilliant Daphne (he has the look!), that leaves Richey as Fred (good-looking and born to be leading the gang anyone!?). James' (lively) dog will have to be Scooby, or if we (controversially!) cast a human, there is Flicker as an actual Manic (of sorts...).
The gang has to find Fred, of course, that can be the storyline. The thing just writes itself, really!
