Never thought I'd see him stuff butter in a turkey though, Sean would've had a gadget to do that!

I was also doing the mental Wire ticklist. Oh Wire, you are brilliant.

Seeing Nicky trying to zesting a lemon and trying to stuff butter into a turkey breast in a totally cackhanded way was the highlight of my week (possibly my month).

And then there was the part where you're supposed to be a polite guest, looking like you're at a dinner table eating a meal but really having a second, last minute interview and there is Nicky Wire, sunglasses on, eating away as if there's no tomorrow, a few laughs, holding a hand over his mouth and then flat out chomping away whilst trying to make random retorts.

Nicky Wire, this is why I love you. Never change.

Probably because it was recorded live - usually takes a few hours for live programmes to be up on iPlayer.

The presenters were irritating me but Nicky made up for it.

Another show I never watched before but did because Nicky was on it.
And if I never checked the "TV/Radio" thread I'd be cursing my slow i-player connection! The whole "interview", whilst miles behind the sort of questions and explanations he has to make when interviewed by NME, was the best Nicky TV in the 21st Century so far! This is going to be talked about for years on FD. People will join in the future and will ask about it. More optimistic about Strictly now.
