Has anyone had a dispatch e-mail from Amazon? I've had a dispatch order from Myplay but not from Amazon? I've ordered the super deluxe ediotion from official store and legacy from amazon.

Where's the cheapest place online to get the different editions? Are the vinyl and box only from the official site? I'm a bit out of the loop but predictably not all the links on the official site work.

Ah in the end I went for HMV, they have free delivery on everything.

Amazon rarely ship earlier than late Friday/Saturday for a Monday release in my experience.

You can always check your order on their site though, it might well be at 'dispatching soon' status by now.

My email was from the official store for the full fat box set, I did have the legacy edition ordered on Amazon for a while, but I couldn't justify both right now, I might pick it up later if it gets cheaper.

Was thinking I might pick up the signed one on play if it was still available.

Listened to the album in its entirety for the first time in about 10 years today.

The production is generally shocking - ME sounds awful to me. YLU as well.

Just in terms of not sounding cheesy or shit, stand out tracks for me are NBWL, BTE, and LBN. Little Baby Nothing sounds so 80s at the beginning but the "you are pure, you are snow..." outro part is arguably the best moment on the album. Beautiful.

Can anybody confirm that the demos sound quite poor even for a remaster?

What do you expect for demos?! Remastering demos doesn't make much sense to me. It's a bit like plugging a bluray player into a portable telly or entering F1 in a Vauxhall Corsa.

For me at least, the main appeal of demos is to get some kind of insight into their writing process or a song's development from demo to release stage. Not that I have any clue about any of that, but I do find it interesting.

Apparently the demos are extremely fuzzy and distorted. Mine has arrived this morning so I'll listen to them later on.

I'm hoping mine arrives this morning too. I think I'd be more disappointed if the demos were more polished. Like I say, the appeal of demos for me is more about the how than the what but I don't know what the band or Sony think the point of releasing demos is or what fans want out of em.

It'll be interesting to see if any of the lyrics have been changed also. I'm stuck in work knowing that on my living room table is the album. I am working till 7pm. It's killing me.
