The clue is in not having received an email yet. That'll be Amazon then.

Anyway, I've decided something. Poleaxed and Spent All Summer are better than SATT and PFAYM. Poleaxed is like early U2 with a hint of Buzzcocks thrown in the chorus. Spent All Summer is a happy Joy Division. (Oh wait, that means Spent All Summer is New Order.)

And I was sure it was Townsend thinking about it just then! Oh well, I know I ordered it, it'll come when it comes!

So desperate to hear this, I found myself alone in sculptureofabloke/Ermintrude's house waiting for his copy to turn up while he was out!

Ha ha it's like waiting for Santa Klaus to come. The fact it that we had a bank holiday on 1st November and one day holiday means one week delay for the f... Italian mail. God knows when I am getting my copy.

Got mine . Too busy to do anything other than look in the box to make sure everything was present and correct. They packed it properly this time so no damage.

Got mine from Play yesterday. Listening to the rip of CD1 through my desktop speakers and it's so loud. When I get round to listening on my hi-fi it may damage something (not least my ears). Loudest CD I've ever heard without being awfully distorted. Wonderful. (I think...)

I've already had to a couple times, volume knob is now below 1. Of course, there is every possibility I am actually already deaf

You'll be alright as long as you keep the volume right down! (Presuming I am not actually going deaf and the CD is loud...)

It's far, far too loud. I can only listen to it on minimal volume on ipod and mac.

Yeah, it definitely goes to eleven. At first it was a novelty (and for me probably will be for a while yet) but about halfway through it started to grate and was a tad painful. Kept lowering the volume which wasn't even moderate to start with! That said, to my ears the sound itself is not bad (or no worse than it was previously, I should say?), just very, very loud.

So before making a mix was a pain because the GT tracks were quieter than everything else. Now they'll be louder!
