A mate mine from Cardiff University is living in Japan. He's has bought tickets for Toyko gig but the Yokohama gig has sold out. If any Manics fan in Japan has a Yokohama spare ticket or knows how to get one please can you contact me? Thanks

I got one from ticket.co.jp by double price (but ... 2 months ago)
Now it seems nothing but Tokyo dates.

Tell your friend try searching on auction website.
The last hope is ticket shop in town.

I'm glad the gigs went well but I was wondering, do you think the band took all their equipment out on both the Japanese and Australian tours or was it cheaper to rent?
Not knocking them, it would make sense and that, but did anyone spot any amps with "M S P" embossed into them?

Took their own gear in terms of guitars, pedals, drums etc...I assume amps too, if they are going to that much trouble.

No I don't think they brought all their own amps to Australia. Nick just had two Ampeg cabinets with a welsh flag draped, not the actual amp cover:

In Melbourne James had two marshalls pointing to front of house.

In Adelaide and Sydney he only had one - or possibly had them back to back. Either way, only one was facing the audience. No Blackstars.

Melbourne

Sydney/Adelaide

Yeah looks like they are back to back.

James played, from memory, 4 guitars...

The usual, a black Les Paul for It's not war, A telecaster for This is Yesterday and his acoustic.

Nick only used the one bass.

Sean's drums and theres an MSP case, so maybe just a stripped down version of their gear, makes sense.
