Brilliant festivalset

4 new songs + PCP
James sounding great, some minor guitar problems, and from what i saw, the crowd is even more enthousiastic than in English festivals (compared to Glastonbury eg).

Don't get it! Great new album with some really good songs that they don't play live, Futurology banner at the back of the stage and they play shit like MASH, Show Me The Wonder and lt's Not Fucking War. Life is just too short to play shit like that. Don't give me they play the hits for the festival crowds, 90% of that crowd won't have heard and probally will never hear ( if they're lucky ) SMTW and INWJTEOL for as long as they live.

Final note. Nicky Wire should not be allowed within 100m of a microphone, he cannot sing, period.....

It's a festival set, and they always sprinkle a range of different albums in. 4 songs from futurology is a lot for a festival!

Show me the wonder is barely a year old too!

The mix sounded awful (on the webstream thing). Cymbals way too high compared to the rest of the kit, rhythm guitar almost completely pointless as it was inaudible for most of the songs, very little bass and James' guitar drowning out the other instruments.

Great performances though.
