Agreed, James's voice isn't low enough for it, it sounds rubbish live.

I apologise, it's seems you are correct. Consider me surprised (that they played it, not that you were right).

Edit: FWIW, that's a bloody good setlist too!

Yes, this. And I kind of hate the song anyway.

Blimey, that's pretty impressive. And a great setlist as well.

I've always loved Indian Summer and I don't understand why the song fell so out of favour with the band (especially given that they released it as a single).

I understand they consider it to be too similar to Design For Life (which I don't actually agree with), but it's better than Autumnsong.

It seems that you and me keep on agreeing with each other!
I've loved Indian Summer when it got out, SATT was my first Manics album to come out since I was a fan and the "boom" for me was Indian Summer, not Your Love Alone. Then in my opinion it got old "badly", the band forgot about that and it's a "lost single". And it's a pity, because I love it.

I find it odd that the band think it too similar to Design For Life.

I think maybe Suicide Alley won't be played... I mean, Motown Junk was considered as the first single in National Treasures, wasn't it? Maybe that's their first with Sony or something?
