One of my cousins had 'No One Knows' by QOTSA and another had 'Do You Realise???' by The Flaming Lips, so I refuse to believe there aren't suitable Manics songs.

Had PCP and Roses in the Hospital at mine, don't think anyone noticed they were too pissed by then.

Quite late on obviously, first dance was about 15 seconds of some slushy "walking slowly in circles" type tunes which then cut to "Bring me sunshine" Morecambe and Wise....

So there some vaguely appropriate ones after all! Thanks for the suggestions everyone! The manics definitely can't be off the playlist all night! I hate sloppy love songs anyway

I went to a family wedding the other day and the playlist included ava adore. There was something awesome about seeing a new husband serenade his new wife with the words "you'll always be my whore" in front of the grandparents (who found it rather funny actually).

We're having a small wedding so I think it'll be ok, everyone knows my love of the manics can't be restrained! I think everyone is expecting it to be a full on rock/metal night

I shall come back here and post what we decided in the end

Great song, but the Divine Comedy cover is even better.
