Hi
 I'm new to the forum (just posted an intro thread in The Queen Nick) but I'm very excited to be going to the Roundhouse gig on the 17th! It will be my first-ever Manics gig as I have some issues with anxiety which put me off gig-going for a few years, but after getting through a couple of smaller shows this year with little trouble, I felt like I couldn't pass up trying to get tickets for this tour... on my birthday no less What is the Roundhouse like as a venue? I've never been.

 i remember it's a great venue, good sound, unless you have The Answering Machine as a support. if there's planned any, i'm suggesting bringing some earplugs. they gave us water in plastic cups in the mid gig, which was great, smuggling water for the gig is always a problem. the barrier's not that high, if it fits me, then it should fit everybody. it's a special place for Manics fans as well, after all it's where the video for ADFL was shot. enjoy the gig! see you there! ps. you have any idea if they make problems with picking up tickets earlier than after the door's open'd?

No idea about ticket pick ups sorry, a friend of my sister's ordered ours but she got them from the Roundhouse I think, so we may be in the same boat.Good to hear about the water, it's been close to 10 years since I was "down the front" (aside from Merthyr Rocks a few weeks ago but then, that was Merthyr... you're taking your life in your hands just to walk down the street  ) so I was wondering if they still did that. At 5ft and a bit, if I can see over the barrier that's good enough for me I feel like I'm getting too excited for this already, it's all I want to talk about!
