Apparently The Rest is Noise has now closed down and is being turned into a Waitrose

Is that the pub in Brixton where the barmen all had ridiculous hairstyles and it took them like half an hour to serve one person? That was quick, seemed quite busy that day- although maybe people just got fed up with waiting at the bar so serves them right ha

We were lucky! I thought the place quite nice actually - good atmosphere. And as much as I like Waitrose, I abhor the closing down of any drinking establishment!

Haha I only went to comment to say 'good', scrolled up and saw this. They were fucking shite! Although maybe they were only so crap cos they knew they were closing and couldn't give a fuck serving the customers.

Apparently the residents of Brixton are feeling the pinch. Someone told me there are no good pubs in Brixton now. I suggested Dogstar and was told "I said good pubs, not good drugs"
