I hope it’s played as acoustic on tour followed by bright eyes

I don't think it's that great. Timing, tempo, and key a bit off. Bit too Ryan Adams for my liking.

From the first couple of notes I like it a lot more than the full-band version. Would've worked great on RTF instead of "Show Me the Wonder".

Interesting - I thought it was very similar to the acoustic demo of Interiors.

I'm of the same opinion, but I am not a great fan of acoustic versions generally. The last one that clicked with me was the acoustic version of Peeled Apples.

I normally love Manics acoustic stuff but this one sounds a little too "now its time to break it down a little ", like the acoustic versions of Faster, to me.

I thought it was a demo when I first heard it.

If someone can edit out the pauses I think I'd like it a lot more. Its nice but sounds like 3 different songs stitched together. Same goes for the demo of 30 Year War which I much prefer except for the 'how do we get this verse to work with this chorus?' moments.

To be fair to it, it sounds to me like they had this lying around and thought it would be something to put out, rather than thinking lets put out an acoustic version of the song.

Sean recently posted a photo of the guitar used to make the recording, leads me to believe it was a purposeful recording for the expected upcoming 7".

That and the clashing horn section which they wisely moved to the front of the song
