Unhappy MYPLAY DIRECT CUSTOMER SERVICES :mad:

Hi
Does anyone have the MyPlay telephone number for Customer Services?
I have a problem with my Futurology signed edition order which they have cancelled. They have suggested that I reorder the item but of course the edition is now sold out!! Grrr, so frustrated about this!!!
I have searched for it with no joy and have sent an email via their website but I would rather contact them directly.
Any help or advice gratefully accepted......Thank you in advance.

Seems this has happened to a few people. When did you place your order? Have they oversold them or something?

I ordered from these during PFAYM when I wanted the shoebox (it is now in another box and has not been listened to again since the first time in 2010) and when it arrived (the first time) it was ripped, crumbled and the CD's inside were cracked. It took me 2 weeks of hours of phone calls, e-mails, ranting e-mails, etc to get it resolved. They resent the item again and it was fine.

After the debacle of recieving the postcards shoebox from these assclowns in a bad condition, I've not used them since. Awful company.

Yeah they're complete crap. They refuse to ship to the US for some reason and there's a whole thread devoted to it.

Loads of us have had the same problem. If you go on the MyPlayDirect website, there's a 'Contact Us' section where you can complain. Send them an angry email. They must have an inbox full of them by now, the more the better. They're utterly imcompetent on the laurels of guaranteed custom no matter what they do because they sell exclusives. Not good enough.

I have been in touch with Sony Music about all the cancelled orders and they have asked me to advise the below:

"If you are experiencing any issues with your recent Manic Street Preachers order, please contact MyPlay Direct directly via http://www.myplaydirect.com/manic-st...rs/contact/new who will be able to assist you further"

Hope this helps you all get what you ordered!

I haven't heard anything either way since my order confirmation. Ordinarily I'd think that a good thing but you never know with all the stories you hear about these guys

Think it is more for those that have received an email to say their order was cancelled. So fingers crossed if you haven't heard you'll be fine.

For UK addresses, Thursday to arrive on Saturday. This they are usually good at.

My signed deluxe-edition was shipped last saturday.
Sometimes MyPlay really messes up as I already told here earlier, that I had the "Rewind The Film" signed deluxe-edition on preorder as soon as it became available for preorder.
But somehow due to clerical error did not receive the signed one. Well overall, they sent me 2 free deluxe-editions anyways.

I have sort of received few vinyl-boxsets (The Suede vinyl-box, 2 copies of The Jesus And Mary Chain-vinylbox etc)
free as I have cancelled the order weeks before the actual release-date.
Its weird as the pages say its cancelled etc, but then it really isn't.
I did not cancel with anything like fraud my mind, I just cancelled those as found them cheaper elsewhere.
Then they even returned the money but still they did deliver those sets to me anyways.

Most of the stuff I have bought from MyPlay/Popmarket has gone great and fast delivery, but once in a while theres problems and their service overall is little poor sometimes.
I would say Amazon has the it really well handled and Im satisfied customer of theirs for many years.
