Vote Manics For NME 2011 Awards?
See the NME has the Shock Wave sponsored vote on? http://www.nme.com/awardsvote

Anyone wanting to vote Manics for 2011 awards?

There are three awards they could do: Best British Band? Best Live Band? Best Album? There's no vote for singles or tracks. Misspelt applications "may be rejected" etc...
If it turns out more people are voting for other acts than the Manics then you may as well move this to "Other Music" forum.
Surely this type of poll we always try and influence every year? Has it been too much this year to make the effort for them?
I'd ideally like them to be in the top three for each category. I think we can still do that.

EDIT: D'oh! There are video and single votes! Forgot there's 4 pages of it!

Don't the NME love Muse now? They may pip a few categories here. JDB definitely for most stylish now, after the Strictly suit.

If I vote honestly though, I don't think PFAYM is the best album, INWJTEOL or SKON aren't my favourite tracks, the videos are shit, live - they were a bit disappointing in Newport... I've just given LCD Soundsystem a fuck load of votes.

Nicky is still unquestionably the most stylish man however!

I'll vote for my favourite band, of course. Live they're amazing. Not bought many albums this year...only bought 3 actually and Postcards is just about my favourite,so yep.

Me too, weird. No votes for Manics though. They're aren't even eligible for 'worst album' because it's not THAT bad.

voted for manics a few times, half the stuff I had no idea on what to put so just left them blank. Go Manics!!!

I never like voting in them 'worst' categories. Am I just too nice? I mean I didn't like the Klaxons or Interpol records but I wouldn't claim that they were the worst albums of the year! Do NME readers just vote stuff like Jonas Brothers and Jedward?

Didn't they say votes with stuff left blank would be discounted? I just used Google so my best film was Toy Story 3, DVD Is This It? David Cameron villian of the year, Ashes To Ashes the best show and Keith Richards book as the best book.
At least I have seen and heard Ashes To Ashes and PFAYM!
