Predicted set lists for upcoming UK gigs

Have they played anything in the UK at all this year, festivals etc?

Seeing them at Ritz this month and was wondering what they might be playing. Hopefully not all from the new album, as The Ritz is small and would be brilliant for a balls-out aggressive rock show.

I can go through their usual favourites, or list dream setlists myself, but I was just wondering if it could be predicted from and recent shows...

Ta.

Probably they will play acoustic versions of a selection of their hits?

EDIT: Ah! From the title I thought this thread was about the UK tour not the handy-few-grand-for-a-nights-work gigs! Apologies!

I really think they will drop about 50% of the obvious second-tier hits and play a mix of new album and rarities. From what we know they are going to play a selection of
Prologue, SATT, S of S, PA, M JD, EIBP
.

From the obvious greatest hits set i can see them dropping YLU, LBN, T, LTD, OS, EMG, MASH.

The guarantees will always be ME, MJ, T, DFL, YLA and strangely YSTS. They love INW too (eugh).

I can't see them ever giving up YLU.

MJ, YLU, ME, F, ADFL, IYTTYCWBN, YSTSFMH, YLAINE. They're the standards. They'll be there til the end of the band.

I suspect they'll refuse to drop OS and INWJTEOL too. One for its personal significance to James, the other because they'll never admit it's a bit shit.

Comments from James recently about being uncomfortable with Ocean Spray made me think they might drop that. I'd like them to drop YLAINE but that won't happen.

I think they will play at least 6 new tracks. Aswell, I think that as it is a small tour they will know the vast majority will be big manics fans so will add in some more obscure songs. Hopefully some Lifeblood...

Don't think there will be too many obscure songs and prob max of 4 new ones per show, with maybe 7 songs swapped in and out.

I can't wait. Intimate venues, largely acoustic album. I wonder if we can expect sets tailored towards that with more of their softer, reflective and more tender stuff. I'd like that, few more lesser played songs hopefully. Since around about Send Away The Tigers I think the acoustic sections have often been the highlights for me, I hope we get something more acoustic feely to it rather than acoustic version of rock songs, La Tristesse was a bit crap. Yeah.. Bring out the rockers in bigger venues for the next album.
