At the last MSP London gig (Shepherds Bush) I spent the start of the evening in the pub and wondered in about 15 mins before MSP took to the stage and still walked to the front.

That tends to be what I do now anyway. Although, and this may have been one of you guys here, when they played The Roundhouse, I was behind a girl and her mum who were against the barrier and they both took offense to being pushed. When I pointed out they should ask the several hundred people behind me to stop pushing, they got, shall we say, a little happy with the heels of their shoes!

That kind of entitled behaviour from those two sounds all too familiar at manics gigs. I stay well back these days, can't be dealing with all the drama.

Ugh - I can't stand those people.

Unfortunately there are always a few uninitiated who take offence to being shoved, who are not up to speed with how rock n roll gigs work.

I once got given a face of thunder by one of these people and told them "It's a rock gig - deal with it".

There's plenty of space further back if you want to sip a pint.

Well, I felt a bit sorry for her as she looked quite young and was with her mum but as soon as she started scraping her heels down my shin, let's just say a dead leg and a call to security to have her dragged out seemed to work a treat! Especially as her mum freaked out that something had happened and had to move as well
