I wouldn't consider it applicable to that thread. Justin Bieber does have more going for him than bands like Embrace ever did. The charts were no better when run of the mill indie bands could score cheap top three hits with multiple format releases off the back of their hardcore fanbase for a week before disappearing. Nowadays when a song hits the top ten, it usually hangs around because consumers actually like the song.

Of the small number of us who bought the PFAYM singles, who bothered listening to track 1? I know I didn't. The song had no right to be in the top 40.

Surely after this they'll do one of two things. Either make something so anti-commercial it might actually get them a number one or stop making albums and just become a touring band. I don't think splitting up will ever be an option for them.

2. Broken Up Again (Very EMG...)
3. Red Rubber (Simple, but effective...)
4. Kiss My Eyes For Eternity (Nice pianoline...)

There are further good ones, but those 4 are my faves.

Surprised to see Eminem's I Need A Doctor in the charts there. I heard the song for the first time on one of the bootleg compilations his fanbase puts out, and I just assumed it was another of the tracks cut from Recovery on account of it being too shit, and basically just Love The Way You Lie but with different words. But there it is, in the charts. Despite being complete shit.
