Should I get hold of a new one this album is going to be blasted out to see what I've missed and also to hear the spaces instead of one after the other on the PS3 disc player.

I think the album dropping from No.2 to No.13 isn't toooooo bad, but next week I reckon it'll be more or less around No.40 and then drop out of the top 100 a week after that Need to get out HMLAH as a single and REALLY promote that and make a GREAT video, not something dull with Welsh valleys in it again.

I think so, playing it loud on better speakers really did the trick.

I listened the full album in my new car with better speakers today. It’s a beautiful album indeed.

Still yet to hear the Japanese extras, but further thoughts on the album and demos having lived with them for a week or two now;

Singles should’ve been IB, Distant Colours, Hold Me Like a Heaven, then People Give In after the album launch.

Vivian will never sit right for me - just hits that bad spot in terms of melody, lyrics, the transitions between the sections... the camera clicks, the guitar motif through the chorus... nothing in that song does anything for me.

I want to like In Eternity so much - the chorus is great - but the full on Darkness meets Iron Maiden solo just kills the song dead to my ears.

The four listed above as desired singles are my stand outs, but also up there would be Sequels of Forgotten Wars (very GATS in the vocals), and Song For The Sadness has recently started getting in my head more and more (initially it was one of the ones I kinda just forgot was on there following Hold Me).

The D&C and Liverpool Revisited demos are miles better than their album versions. Still can’t get past the OTT strings on the studio D&C, much prefer the quartet style of the demo, plus James doing both vocals. The Liverpool demo benefits from missing Nicky’s solo, just find that a bit jarring on the studio version.

Stand out demo is Song For The Sadness - love the strings doing the guitar riff, plus the additional verse.

I heard someone say the album is badly produced and I think there's something in that. The balance of instruments is very mushy on some tracks with the drums too low in the mix.

I love the demos, and I love the songs live, but I'm completely meh about the standard CD.

I love the album, not too bothered with the demos this time. Vivian is the only song I'm not that keen on.
