Surprised it's only been six years, it feels like it's been out forever. Solid album, the kind of thing I'd love to see the Manics doing.

I prefer Zeitgeist out of the two but yeah, it's damn solid album. I keep sort of forgetting about it for ages pretty often but then by happenstance dig it out and fall in love with it all over again. Some rather brilliant songs there, love the abundance of backing vocal harmonies and James sounds so relaxed throughout.

Fucking perfect album. Love it as a concept... to me it's the "First welsh rock folk" album that TITTYMITTY never was.

Also the reason James spunked all his best stuff on that before having to write SATT, imo.
