i would expect it is a bit late in the day to get any steam behind this one,

and considering people will still be buying joes record and the new "shit" cheryl cole tune

it would be nice to see if we can get it in the top 40

count me in.

Does anyone know, roughly, how many sales would get a song into the top 40 at least?

#38 last week (Leona Lewis with Happy) was there on a tick over 9,500k.

However, in a normal week id say roughly over 5-6k could get you into the top 40 now.

Hang On: Nicky does not really want it to chart in 35th position, as that will spoil many years of top 25 charting positions.....

No it wont, it already charted in the top 25, and not all of them charted in the top 25 anyway.

Indian Summer got to number 22, Let Robeson was in the top 20-ish, and since Design For Life it has all been top 25's...
