Because of this thread I decided to listen to it in full for the first time in about 2 years.

I always knew it was an important album with some absolute gems on it. But wow, as an entire album I had completely underrated it. Love it - Wire's Holy Bible for sure.

P.s Nobody Loved You is the best track on it.

I still say SYMM's lyrics put across how Nicky found that particular subject so difficult to put into words.

I keep telling people that TIMTTMY is the sister record to THB!! TIMTTMY is the album that looks inward at the darkness within, THB is the album that looks outward at the darkness of the world.

I think that makes me angriest about such a bad incident that was given media coverage that beats most things, don't make a song about something you can not add anything to lyrically, Nicky.

Again, it's good music but the lyrics make the football fan and lyrical fan of the other 12 songs on the album dissapointed.

As he says in the following lyric he doesn't feel that he can say anything. Nothing that would ease the pain of the pain of the victims and their families.

It's how he felt at the time and that's how he expressed it. Nowt wrong with that.

Its not the sentiment i object to its the delivery...he could've said exactly that in a much better way. I expected more from him.

Spot on, he might as well have wrote "here's some additional syllables."
