The Captains California Ball, featuring celebrities from the world of TV and sport, will be held at Cardiff City Stadium on Friday 29th June 2012 from 7pm-1am.*

This prestigious event , raising funds for Velindre, will feature a performance by Manic Street Preachers frontman and Velindre Patron James Dean Bradfield, the dancing tunes will be provided by Radio One DJ Huw Stephens and the MC will be our very own Jonathan Davies MBE.*

Tables of 10 are a£1000 and individual tickets are available at £100, which includes a champagne and canapes reception, sumptous 3 course meal, quality raffle and auction with some money can't buy prizes!

It is a very good cause, FD raised money for it back in October. I'd love to go, but my pockets aren't that deep at the moment.

I work for a company who provide waitresses etc at Cardiff City stadium, but I feel being asked to work for this is too much to hope for! Lucky people who can afford to go.
