Interesting news. Wonder if they'll announce a tour at some point as well if the album is being released in September? I'd expect the single to be announced in the next 3/4 weeks at the latest.

Thanks for this! Lolling at the shed of mystery, 'like blokes do' and the request for aromatherapy oils Also, did he try to call Zoe Ball Jo (Whiley?) at the end there?!

It's an exciting time to be a Manics fan ^___^

Bloody awful line-up but it's been nearly 2 years and I miss them too much not to.

I'm not going despite my amazing fella saying we can go if we want to despite going to a wedding the day before and all. We're going to Festival No6 and that will be a much better experience and hopefully with new songs.

Have fun if you go

I quite like Texas, looks like a nice day out.

The site is confusing, apparently ticket information is going online at 8:15 on Friday - makes it sound like a ticket release, or are they really putting a time on when the website is updated with more info?

Yay, I went to this in 2011 to see Quo perform and they smashed it, brilliant set! The fans loved it and i'm sure Manics will have a good 'un!

with that lot i hope they ARE headlining. Looks like a day out for the middle aged Might go now

edit: I've just read the link. Never heard of a radio 2 gig at hyde park. Might take my mum with me. She'll like jamie cullum and texas..sit at the back and then watch from the hill near the entrance. You get a decent view of the light show , sound's not bad. Cons - portaloos and potential rain. HMMM.

Am going, missing the boys so much. Just been to see Muse who were fantastic, supported by a good 'Bastille' and Dizzee Rascal But nobody comes close to the Manics.

Torn over this - I could easily go and I'm sure it would be fun, but the other acts are dire and I'm going to the festival a week later. I thought that was going to be the only big gig this year
