I think they've got serious commitment issues. They're always wanting to depart from their previous efforts, they've got the same attitude towards their albums that Taylor Swift has towards her men.

I personally feel that if it were the greatest album ever recorded it would still only sell to us lot. It's just the way things are now. Obviously I'd love it to do well, but...

it doesn't just sell to us lot. Postcards reached number 2 and was number 1 midweek. It's not war got to number 37. THAT was us lot.

Yeah, but Postcards pretty much disappeared a week or two later. It was us lot buying it on three or four different editions that got it anywhere. Probably

Their formula is pretty fixed, I reckon. They'll introduce new songs, disown a few of them, play four new ones all the way through, one hit from each recent album and a setlist of the old hits.

well they must be popular because i wouldn't think a cult band would be asked to play a radio 2 festival
