Apparently so. Pretty typical of them to release an incomplete complete singles collection.

The Lifeblood and SATT singles look particularly crap, one bside per disc.

I'm having it for Christmas, but I'm a bit miffed that I can't get rid of all my other singles. I wonder if there's space for them in the box...

I guess I'd still buy it if I had the money. Would be nice to have the early b-sides in a nice, remastered form... I'm far too broke though!

Bit tight, that. Would it actually be any inconvenience or expense at all to put the cd2/vinyl/cassette tracks on the same disc?

I'll get it one day anyway, nicely presented box set.

Exactly. The Blur one is fantastic, each disc is like a mini album with all the extra tracks. Seems like a missed opportunity but it'll still sell out.

Yeah, I've got the Blur one, love it. Think there are a couple of them with 8 or 9 tracks on? Suppose that'd be the most you could've been looking at for any of these too. Unless they could've put itunes stuff on too.

I hope This Is The Day isn't gonna be the last of their singles with any kind of physical release.

Aww unless it's an extra, the DVD doesn't have Strip It Down on

I'd guess the DVD extras will be You Love Us (Heavenly), Autumnsong (alternate version), Jackie Collins, maybe a live track or two, maybe some Patrick Jones efforts, etc

Shame. They may aswell have put JCEQT on there too seeing as they went through the effort of making a video and sending promos out even if they didn't release it.

Oh and the Japanese release should have Further Away and Nobody Loved You on it too. I know there were less singles released there than here but still. I wish Manics would play Further Away instead of Kevin Carter and Nobody Loved You instead of Everlasting occasionally.

Cool I guess we should consider now a practice that of incompleteness

I bought the box, but without expecting so much.

Consider that if you buy the complete Beach Boys sessions of Smile (quite pricey as well), apparently you will not get the album in complete form, and you have to get also the 2CD version for the mono version although it is not clear where you get the stero one!
And what about The Smiths boxes?

Take care.
