Kept going back and forth, but finally decided on Love's Sweet Exile/Repeat...

I'm guessing because it wasn't 'them'. Trying too hard, perhaps? Whatever the reason, the album works for me.

Guess The bassline alone probably would've won it for me. Empty Souls would easily have been my second choice.

The Everlasting, closely followed by Revol and Some Kind Of Nothingness for me. Hmm, that was an easier choice than I thought it would be.

It's got to be La Tristesse Durera, but Love's Sweet Exile/Repeat and Revol come pretty close.

But you look at that list and remember how poor they are at choosing singles sometimes.

I voted for 'Revol', then 'EMG' started playing on my laptop and I thought "Hmm, did I do right there?" But no, I don't think so. Just the first few notes of 'Revol' make me think I made the right choice. 'EMG' is a very close second, though...

Lifeblood would be excluded from a third single poll. I was going to do a poll on "Proposed Manics singles", but all I had was Patrick Bateman, I Live To Fall Asleep, Yes and 1985. Were there any more? And despite Judge Yr'self coming out on LT, does that count as a proposed single? If Richey had stayed in the band they probably would have finished and released it. So I'd include that.
Anyone who know the chapter and verse of the interviews have Richey or anyone mentioning songs they wanted as singles? So far, I've got five. Can we get ten and then I'll get the poll together? I'm sure there's more choices they said.

No, I refuse

Has to be LTD for me.

And weren't they considering Enola/Alone for a single? Or was that just Simon Price being disappointed they didn't? Can't remember now...
