Does anyone know what the Blue generation is?

Couldnt find anything about that on the web,
and what is the song What happened to the blue generation about?

"We thought we were the blue generation and we were destinded to change the world." I remember something along those lines from a Nicky interview, circa Rewind The Film, about their early years.

Might have dreamed it though.

It's from 'In Their Own Words' and I'm not sure about the original source. I remember someone posted that quote when the b-side was released so I think you may have mistaken it for this?!

They got the band name wrong. There's no 'The' in front of it, dimwits. Worse than NME.
