Just back after a detour to Liverpool to see BSP (I was not the only FMF there I can tell ya).

Amazing gig, my first time in Glasgow, dead impressed. Venue is an odd one but the view and sound were superb. People having a jump around all the way to the back, James was in his element.

Sounds such a great gig, I've never been to see the boys in Scotland- should I book for the next tour?

Yes, but Glasgow, not Edinburgh. I was at both and it's crazy how subdued the Edinburgh crowd was.

I've been at two MSP gigs in the Corn Exchange (2005 and 2010) and normally the crowd's pretty good there. I could not believe how tame it was! I was in the second row from the front and there was even a lot of space around us. Apart from two girls on the barriers that were doing a lot of dancing, it only really got going a couple of songs from the end.

Still an enjoyable gig, but the crowd the night after made up for it!!

It sounds like Glas-gee knows how to rock 'n' roll! This place is going on my 'must do' gig venue list.

I was there in 2010 as well and while it was better I still found it lacking compared to Glasgow.

I'm so glad i managed to get a ticket.Think it was one of the best manics gigs i have been too.I haven't listened to them much lately and when i saw them in Cardiff i thought it was ok but ended up going to the bar once james had finished his acoustic set.Edinburgh was better but Barrowlands was just brilliant. You could tell it was going to be good right from the first song.Great crowd and James sounded amazing. He was loving the crowd. Can't wait to go back there again.
