For what is advertised on the Gig Poster as " Much More " that second setlist is poor. Really sorry to have to say it.

It's a cover of an 80s song.

Yes, but I am glad we got the best version in Köln, I mean Tender/Tired instead of stupid SKON or now unnecessary cover of a pop song. It's only shame they had to play SIP and Ocean Spray in addition to the always played hits. Yes/Faster and Sepia/other EMG b-side would change the setlist to a great one.
Anyway, this would only be a bonus, the entire EMG is a great thing alone and I would go only for those songs alone.

Have to say, as I'm sure most of us did, I expected a b-side or two. The hits are very predictable and even though I liked the cover of Feels Like Heaven and it might sound decent live, it doesn't seem as great as I'd hoped for. Perhaps when the UK gigs arrive they'll shake it up a bit.

I thought this was a great gig. I would expect things to be different for the UK gigs in that we'll hear at least one bside. As for Suicide Is Painless, I thought the acoustic version sounded beautiful.

I did manage to get a few good videos (Further Away, No Surface All Feeling, Motorcycle Emptiness & Natwest). I'll upload these as soon as I can.

After the disappointment of the Eindhoven gig (the band were ultra grumpy in Eindhoven and Nicky didn't say a word for the entire gig...James even made reference to it in Amsterdam, something like "What day is it?" and the crowd shouted "Friday!" and he said "Better than fucking Thursday", so guess they must have had a bad day), Amsterdam was like watching a completely different band to the night before (thank god). Crowd were pretty decent; I understand Dutch crowds tend to be more subdued than in the UK, but everyone around me seemed to be having a good time. There's no barrier at the Paradiso, so it was nice to have a bit more space than usual and it was just a massive relief to see the band up for it and in good spirits again.

We got You're Tender and You're Tired in Eindhoven, so I didn't mind hearing Feels Like Heaven instead, although hope they mix things up a bit more on the UK tour, maybe play a slightly longer second half and add an EMG b-side. Natwest was fun, although poor James forgot the words at both Dutch gigs (twice in Eindhoven, guess it really was a bad day at the office!)

It's obviously been nice to finally hear all of EMG live as well; I particularly enjoyed The Girl Who Wanted To Be God. Don't like ADFL being so early in the set, as it definitely feels like you need to build up to it more, but guess I will just have to get used to that Hopefully they'll end the second half on something other than Tolerate in the UK (I know they always end on Tolerate in Europe, but there's room for them to mix it up a bit in the UK), as I'm not that fussed about that as a closer. Really enjoying the way they're playing Roses at the moment too, especially the 'Forever, ever delayed' ending part.

I'll post some photos when I've got them uploaded from my camera. The stage is very high at the Paradiso (although it is a lovely, intimate venue generally speaking), so they might be from a slightly odd angle, we shall see!
