Thats crap. You kind of wonder if the venue could do more if they know they have a problem. I've actually left mine at home today so should be okay.

I'd get Derek Acorah (or whatever his name is) in if your phone transported it's self from home to the roundhouse for the purpose of getting nicked

What a bunch of bastard. I hope those whose stuff got nicked are compensated somehow. I didn't see any action at Llandudno, people were flashing iPhones all over the shop. I tend to keep my camera on the wristband, but that's mainly because I'd accidentally throw the fucker if I didn't!

I'm on PAYG too and got my sim replaced (with same number) by my provider even though it wasn't even registered. Deffo worth calling them.

Swines. I'd be tempted to have one of these in my pocket if I were going.

That's horrible. I hate pickpockets and burglars; they've got no right to steal things that people have earned. Fuckers.

This is quite annoying for me too because I tend to cram everything in my pockets for gigs so that I don't have to fanny around with the cloakroom. That said, maybe if they're really full, no one will be able to get their hand in to nick anything. Hmm.

Thanks for letting us know, though; I'm rather naive and just imagine that fans of awesome bands will automatically be good people. I never think that a) they might not be, and b) everyone at a gig might not be a fan.

Someone once tried to pick my pocket outside Candy Bar in London. The weirdest part was my reaction, I felt him* trying to get my wallet so I put my hand in my pocket on my wallet, turned to him, and in the most patronising voice I have ever conjured said "No. Naughty.".

Who talks to pickpockets like they're five!?

A mate of mine once caught a thief pulling at his wallet when he was at a gig. However, his wallet was connected to his jeans by a long chain, so he just turned his head and watched as the thief yanked at the wallet, and then buggered off.

I had an old man fondle and grope my ass at a gig in London once. I had to push him away and shout at him and rush to the other side of the venue. Cunt.

Yeah, cheers guys, spoke to 3 and they're sending me a new SIM with the same number. Should even have the same credit and add-ons too

That's disgraceful that people will do this sort of thing at gigs. Well, it's bad enough anywhere! I never take my wallet or phone into a gig anymore, stopped it years ago. When I used to have them on me my jeans pockets were really tight so nobody would be able to get their hand in there without me feeling it, plus every now and then I always just make sure they're still there...I'm paranoid like that.
Sorry to the folks who had stuff stolen. The bastards who stole the stuff need their hands chopping off.

That guy was me I think. I counted a good 5 or 6 people searching for phones on the floor after the gig, and nothing was found. I've cancelled my phone, but have to wait 24 hours for a replacement, as well as losing all my numbers.

Was still a great gig though. But will leave my phone at home for the Kentish Town gig!
