They hadn't even recorded FD in 1995 so they must have got terribly confused!

My goodness. He was referring to the number of times they've played Wembley Arena not the number of times they've played 4ever Delayed or the fact they played the song when supporting the Stone Roses there for their comeback gig!

It... was... No... Feelings by Sex Pistols....
Maybe... Nicky shaved... his legs? : no bristles....?

Nice that a few people got that performance on video, (thanks!) Looked like another great gig.

Yurp, that was the beginning of the end of James letting someone else do his pedals. The timing of the distortion on/off on that gig was pretty awful at times. The Slash n Burn change was quite slick as it goes, and with 2x backing guitarists you'd expect it not to affect things too much... in the nick of time!

Wires Wembley comment threw me also. But I count five times previously no? Stone Roses, 2 on the Truth tour, FD, and Lifeblood. and then RiF (6).

Wire is a compulsive liar though.

I really enjoyed the gig, great night - but, is it only me who thinks those background videos are the horror? They start the gig with a quote about beauty and then you see bugs during Masses - with a negative film effect... WTF? Probably it‘s just me and I am not artistic enough but I enjoyed just quotes or just lights the most, not one video actually supported a live song (ok, maybe the very early footage).

Not impressed by Wembley security though...a group of people in front of me (few rows back on Nicky's side) actually sparked up and started smoking during the Manics set, and security didn't make any effort to move them at all despite the visible smoke, and instead decided to rove through the crowd and aggressively pull out people who were just jumping around a bit from what I could see. They tried to take me at one point but I was stone cold sober and standing still!
Totally agree about the security.

I was one such person who received a dress down for having the audacity to move ever so slightly during YSTSFMH. I genuinely was bouncing on the spot and didn't even bump into anyone or anything. But that wasn't enough for me not to be reprimanded by security though.

That said, it's not helped by a large number of gigs who seem intend on going to Manics gigs to stay absolutely still for fear of having a good time.

I really do wonder about many Manics attendees. If they're not in the above category then they seem to be more concern about playing camera-person or or photographer. What ever happened to being in the moment rather than of it?

With every new album it gets worse. It's genuinely hard to enjoy watching the band I love so much.

Am I alone in this?

I think part of the problem is everyone's getting older and less willing to be jostled about. I don't mind people bumping into me .... not much fun when people use u as a wall to bounce off of tho

I meant to say at the time, did James play the riff from Shot by Both Sides during the You Love Us solo?
