as far as I noticed that on FB, I posted. damn, I've already checked the flights to Glasgow and they're pretty cheap.

The Scotland gigs usually get announced separately, sometimes before the rest of the UK and NI, sometimes afterwards. The rest will follow. Don't panic. The Manics aren't going to do a three gig tour in Scotland and ignore the rest of the UK & NI.

Thursday 30th September 2010: Aberdeen (Music Hall)

Saturday 2nd October 2010: Edinburgh (Corn Exchange)

tickets go on sale on THIS Friday 9am


gosh Glasgow is so tempting, these flights are really cheap.

I just emailed Ade, I know he doesn't like to do more than one gig per tour, but he's suggested that I go to Glasgow and Aberdeen alone and he'll meet me in Edinburgh for that gig and we'll have a long weekend there. That suits, I can pick the Manics up later the week after for another couple of gigs in England or Wales, and that'll be five gigs, which is enough for me at my age Now to make sure that I get tickets.

i might be doing the same, my hubby hates the whole queuing thing so will have to do a gig with him and then a couple of others on my own with the girls, will see what comes up down in england as we might be able to coordinate that with a trip to see family leaving me to do the scottish ones in full fangirl mode

Manic Street Preachers announce details of their tenth studio album. Postcards From A Young Man will be released on September 20th.In support of the release the band will undertake their most extensive UK tour ever, kicking off in Glasgow on September 29th.Tickets go on sale on sale Friday 4th June 2010 at 9am from Gigs And Tours.

Going to be quite strange to be able to go straight home, rather than having to travel miles.
