So do we know who the support act will be ? (have i missed it ?)
So who would we like ? A quick nose around the internet says that the horrors have a new album out soon so maybe them |

No announcement yet, I would love for it to be The Horrors but I think they'll be doing their own thing and might even be a little bit too big.
Personally I think it's about time we had Future Of The Left supporting. Amazing live band, with the angry aesthetic that the Manics seem to be hinting at for this tour.

Never watch them anyhow, wish they never bother with support so its a cert you can get the last bus!

The Horrors would be amazing - they might not be considered too big now as they've left it rather a while between albums. Cross everything!

I'd be happy with whoever it is to be honest. Always fun to check out some new music and if it's manic approved, then there is always a glimmer of potential.
The Horrors would be great, but agreed that I think they would be too big for a support slot these days.

Really? Manics-approved music tends to disappoint me. The only support acts in the last 10 years or so that I enjoyed were Ian Brown; Delays; and Public Service Broadcasting.

But they have opened me up to Kids in Glass Houses, The Departure, The Enemy, Fear of Music, Cherry Ghost, Razorlight and more. It's always interesting as sometimes you never know what to expect and can be pleasantly surprised or end up loathing them. Just my opinion mind

I would never have bothered with the public service broadcasting album if they hadn't supported them and it's ended up being one of my favourite albums this year. So I await in anticipation

Just as long as it isn't fucking Peace, I won't really mind who it is.

Don't even joke, because it will happen, they KNOW who my favourite bands are and make sure they support them.
This too, Peace need to go away, I suspect they are also too big though, this country...

I can't be sure, but I think I'll definitely not be not certainly the opposite of unhappy about being not entirely possibly being the very antithesis of theoretically undisappointed if it still isn't not definitely perhaps Traveler's Japanese App this time round.
They just really need to make a decision, I think.

It could be Toy, actually - it's getting so that I've seen them more in the last couple of years than any other band, ever. But The Horrors supported Placebo after Primary Colours - are they really so much bigger, now?

That was a proper arena tour, and although Primary Colours was well-received it didn't exactly shoot them straight to the top of the mainstream. As I recall, nobody seemed to know who they were/hated them at the show I went to. They got bigger slowly and then Skying did really well commercially (number 5, as compared to 25 for PC) so I think they are bigger.
