Top five Nicky songs
What are your five favourite Nicky tracks at the moment? Haters need not make their thoughts known in this thread. You can include Dying Breeds if you feel the need to.
My current five favourites. 1. Everything Fades. It's been too long since we've had a Manics song over six minutes. Thank goodness this isn't a short song because it gets better as each minute passes. 2. Break My Heart Slowly. Sensible choice for first proper single. Classic Nicky use of soundbite and perhaps his most melodic music. 3. You Will Always Be My Home. He doesn't seem to be interested in performing it live, but it's the best homage to the riff from Made of Stone since The Bluetones gave up. 4. I Killed The Zeitgeist. Probably his most infamous and universally hated track. Universally but not including me, that is. Seven months on and I still enjoy listening to it. Get over it, nonbelievers, you all SUCK. 5. Withdraw/Retreat. Simple and catchy. Sometimes this isn't a good thing, but I've decided it is in this case. I'm talking about the live version with this one, by the way.
