They're richer than me, and that's all that matters.

I am a bit confused by the Richey thing, a lot of the time the businesses that operate in working out funds don't just look at the "25%" quote in copyright, but in who wrote what, who performed etc. So I think it's a tough call to compare the Richey thing to the actual modern band. Not to mention that as people have said live gigs earn you more than album sales if your albums odn't do particularly well (albeit the Manics always have) and given Richey's been missing since 1995, that's a LOT of gig profit being missed.

I reckon they're pretty well off too, they still have fairly decent sized gigs, can hire permanent road crew and backing muscisians for every gig, so they aren't exactly having to scrape the barrel to survive.

Plus, LOOK AT THE GUITARS JAMES HAS. Most of them are worth over £2,500!

Wasn't that said in 2004 too? I imagine he'd have more by now...

James was a short term cause of the credit crunch via guitar purchases, obviously!

I bet he names them all too.

But I bet he got bored at number 12 and just calls most of them either 'Les' or 'Paul'.

Some would through playing and gig usage but given how James seems to have his main guitars set up every so often I'd imagine he keeps them in good nick.

Most of his guitars are amazingly high standard anyway, so if he has looked after them then they most likely would either stay at a similar price or actually sell for more.

The mental image of his guitars crawling around wailing with feedback frightens me.

Isn't Tallulah the name of Nicky's daughter? James wouldn't name a guitar after her as that would be a bit creepy! James is probably the wealthiest out of them despite owning two homes as his wife is at the top of her field workwise and earns a lot working in a high position at Channel 4 and has also worked for Momentum pictures.

I don't think she's Chief Marketing Executive at Channel 4 anymore, she is Chief PA at Tartan Films
