If anyone finds the Strokes-This Is It page can they pos it so anti-voting can be done. I've tried to work out how the albums are ordered but it seems random.

fair enough point, but with all the praise heaped on the ones i mentioned, it was a reasonable expectation that the albums i mentioned would have scored over 5 at the least? at this stage, it does look like it's just Manics & Oasis fans clicking wildly on it!

It's because both The Strokes and Franz Ferdinand are NME lovvies. I'm glad BRMC didn't stay lumped with The Strokes for too long in the NME's grasp.

...both bands whose fans probably wouldn't be big listeners of Wino or Andrew WK, wouldn't you say? Maybe not everyone is giving 1 to absolutely everything... whatever, it's hardly representative is my point.

The Strokes aren't even in the same league as BRMC. Far superior band as far as I'm concerned.

Good point about the NME lovin' for both bands and I guess it stands to reason that many who routinely read the NME are going to be fans of whatever nonsense that rag heaps praise on.

Good question, Sue! Is Lifeblood included? That's possibly the Manics best album this decade despite what the haters think.

Do these polls ever end? I mean, are the results covered in NME-magazine or something?

Nice to see JFPL over there Good work for a truely great album!

Which is funny, cause Robert was totally obsessed with the Strokes circa-2001, well before Is This It came out. And in a weird way.
