It's nicely done - contrasting colours are particularly lovely - however, £300? That's a bit steep especially considering it's a copy of a well known and over used photograph. Had you done something a little more original, perhaps the price would make more sense. That's just my opinion though.

hey hey,
i appreciate your feedback and can see you point, however the price reflects the time it took me to complete, the scale of the painting and materials used.
i know it's a really common and over used picture, but i love it, and really wanted to paint it.
thanks for taking the time to check it out :-)

Regardless of how well-known the image is, you are a FANTASTIC artist
and you deserve success. I don't have 300 quid though sorry.

Oh, I see. Sorry, didn't mean to come off so harshly - I was only curious about the price tag. It's well done and you've obviously put a great deal of effort into it. Good luck to you! I hope it goes to a good home!

Same, I'd buy if I could but I don't have that kind of money. Great painting though and it would make an interesting conversation piece. Well done

I think £300 is actually a very reasonable price for that. This isn't some little painting in a sketchbook, it's genuine art. I just don't much have a taste for a 5' tall reproduction of that particular picture!

Wow, really great gallery! Unfortunately I haven't got any money to spend on nice things like this, either. Hope you find a buyer for it, it deserves to be seen

I understand why people hate that picture but for me it's the best picture of Richey ever. you can see the sparkle in his eyes, that bit of madness, honesty and naivety which truly defines all further Richey's steps.
