I actually agree with you, if they did an acoustic style set up for a single or EP and had Pete in a Layne Staley like role with JDB acting as Jerry Cantrell (if you don't know of Alice in Chains this may have lost you) it'd be excellent.

Yep, I like Pete Doherty, my bad taste is compounded right now.

James did turn down the position that went to Graham Coxon in that Supergroup with Paul Weller, Mani and Zak Starky though!
