Same. I really hoped it would happen when GNR came to London last year.

In truth there’s been some pretty poor turn outs for support acts on the NITL tour because fans still think Axl will turn up three hours late, but this is still the ultimate honour for JDB and more exciting than their own tour.

Wonder if they'll be crafting their setlist accordingly for these dates, I'm not sure if "Dylan & Caitlin" will really work for a crowd of hard rock heads screaming for "Welcome to the Jungle".

Their entire set should consist of Generation Terrorists.

How were GnR in all seriousness?

How did Axl sound? Did they take it serious as a gig? How was the crowd?

I’d pay the €160 to get in the first section of the crowd no problem - but I worry they’d be just phoning it in.

I paid over a hundred quid to see GNR last year too and can honestly say it was the best gig of my life. They were the first band I ever fell in love with but unfortunately they split up before I was old enough to go to gigs.

Axl's voice was bang on - apparently he's working with the same vocal coach that he was working with on the Use Your Illusion tour and sounds like classic Axl. They weren't late on stage, nowhere near as many costume changes and boring instrumental jams / drum solos as I was fearing. They played for three hours with only a minimum of all that. I would thoroughly recommend going to a date on this tour if you can.

Oh dear Axl Rose is a nightmare isn't he? Never meet your heros

Someone film this please .. no way I can go. If it was the UK I'd try and get tickets.
