First nod to KYE since the interview with the NME I think. Hopefully news is imminent. |

Love this new strap captioning a photo of a guitar strap with Know Your Enemy written on it.

Generally, announcements of Manics re-issues have been prefaced with an Instagram shot of a mastered cd back from the studio.

From Forever Delayed Facebook, Friday 28th of May at 6.30pm on Radio Wales.
Huw Stephens presents a show about the Cuba gig. Jittery FD: THIS SHOULD HAVE GONE IN RANDOM MANICS THOUGHTS OR TV/RADIO THREAD! YOU mentioned it online first!! Only relevant news to KYE we've had since thread started. |

Right so with TUVL coming out in early September-ish, where does that leave KYE? Is there precedent for other reissues being announced to fill the gap before a new album release?

If it’s september for the new album, KYE by Christmas is my guess. Would make sense.

The obsessive in me wishes they'd make more effort to coincide the reissues around the same time of year as the originals. Been close a few times but too late this time.. Aye, such a minor and petty thing to be bothered by, but I am a minor and petty thing.
Still a bit will they won't they for me. Thinking back to 2014, chucking Die In The Summertime and Archives of Pain back in, then that Rough Trade gig that was half Futurology half Holy Bible - even after that I had my doubts cos I'm daft, but that was as good as an unofficial announcement really. Maybe we'll be seeing the return of Miss Europa Disco Dancer in Autumn, if it happens. I do wonder how financially viable a Know Your Enemy reissue would be, then again would presume the profit margin on reissues would be a lot higher than when you were hiring Rockfield for a few months. Casual fans don't buy box sets, but I suppose by now the fanbase has plateaud for want of a better way of putting it, probably mainly down to the hardcore boxset buying fans eh.
