RIF misheard lyrics

My 5 year old; 'why is he singing 'amphibian' so many times?'

So that's one song ruined!

At least that'd be a more Manics-y lyric!

I think I tweeted that one weeks ago as well

I've been singing "Together tendonitis cries" or "Together the tenements cry" for the last few weeks.

On one of the interviews someone asked if "Jacques Delors" was referenced on Sequels - they didn't correct him but pretty sure it was the "shock and awe" line.

Another one from me on Sequels: A blue screen for a Tramadol.

Probably. I kept hearing it too!

The Vivian/Amphibian one makes me laugh.

That's amazing. I felt inspired... or deranged. Something like that...

Amphibian

You jump these ponds
With some moisture round your neck
It’s your weapon of choice
You like both the dry and wet

I’ve seen your face
But I’ve rarely seen your gills
Did you leave the depths
Or did you build a leg?

‘Phibian did you ever realise
All the great seas that you left behind

Amphibian, Amphibian
Amphibian, Amphibian

I’ve looked inside your pool
But we never heard your voice
Did we have a sea
Beneath your trees

The mudflats and coastlines have become your home
Would it mean that much if you were swimming down

‘Phibian did you ever recognise
All biology, you kinda-compromised

Amphibian, Amphibian
Amphibian (Did you ever recognise)
Amphibian (You kinda-compromised)

‘Phibian did you ever recognise
Batrachology in which you’re very wise…

Amphibian, Amphibian
Amphibian, Amphibian

Amphibian (Did you ever realise)
Amphibian (All the fish you left behind)
Amphibian (Did you ever recognise)
Amphibian (You kinda-compromised)
