How annoying is it that "Nicky" is prompting everyone to go and buy the single and report how many copies they got and chart positions?
I really hope he's nowhere near that account, or it would be rather pathetic...

The problem is that there are people so deep into the obsession that they truly believe that it is the band, and are genuinely so happy to be "friends with them". I think it's also a bit weird from the perspective of the people creating the accounts and running them. I mean, who goes to that level, seriously?
my view of it from a personal perspective is that its "meh". I have no interest in being "friends" with someone pretending to be a member of a band I like. I have no interest in even adding genuine members of bands.
