most of us are here by accident, we were looking for a forum for the film Happy Feet and just registered whilst we were of a mind to do so.

In my early teens I became obsessed with Alice Cooper and made it my mission to track down everything they/he had ever recorded. I found a single of his in a junk shop one day that I'd never heard of before called (No More) Love at your Convenience I bought it and rushed home to listen to it. I was devastated and appalled when I played it-it was fucking disco! I'd never be that disappointed in a record my favourite band released again until It's Not War came out, I could have cried the first time I heard it. The weird thing is they both have love and pointless brackets in the title and aren't a million miles apart in style. If you haven't heard the Alice track it's here; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VBBtYkipHAc

Once I got PFAYM, and heard the track in the context of the album, it didn't seem quite so bad, and 'It's lost on me I believe in revenge' is a fucking cool line, it should never in a million years have been the lead single though.

Most of the albums have this problem nowadays.

It will forever remind me of Stomp by Steps. In fact, Stomp is a much better song.

Stomp is just your average pop guff, It's Not War rocks with a bit of disco shimmer on top!

I think I'd prefer an acoustic version. Never been keen on it.
