Your kidding surely. I barely like any of the three but i'd put Powderfinger well ahead of the other two.

Some decent choices like The Triffids, Avalanches and The Go-Betweens. Only other band deserving a spot would be Motor Ace.

Well as far as i knew Crowded House were formed in Melbourne and two out of three members were Australian.

They can keep Split Ends though...

1. AC/DC (no doubt about it)
2. MIDNIGHT OIL (I have all their albums, they are GREAT)
3. HOODOO GURUS

Cog (live show is amazing - saw them support Shihad last year), Mark of Cain, Grinspoon. Come on I've got to plug Shihad! Kiwi but relocated to Melbourne. Here's one from the last album: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MlyPoNHpFBw. They're the best live band I've ever seen.
