Well least Brixton will get some sort of show. Dont think I'll go, I'm taking the car to Birmingham the night before and I dont want to take it to London. Plus the Manchester Winter Wonderland bored the arse off me before the Manics came on with the all the shit support acts and they only played like 12 songs

Lucky London I won't complain, as Manchester got them a few years ago.

I'd love to go to this, won't be able to get the time off work though.
Shall still see them in Birmingham the night before

I don't think we'll bother going. The one in 2006 was a bit different as they hadn't played a gig for ages, but since I'm seeing them at the same venue (twice) a few weeks later, it doesn't seem worth it for (as MSPKYE said) 10 or 12 songs.

Yeah 2006 was kinda necessary seeing as they hadn't done a full band gig all year and it would have ruined my having seeing them at least once every year for the last decade

Seem to remember the Manchester one where I managed to survive a set from The Magic Numbers - So I could probably survive this!

Haha, brilliant. They'll have to hide until they go on stage. I'm pretty sure they've slagged off nearly every band on that list. Not that I imagine any of the other bands to be much of a physical threat.

I think everyone should photocopy and blow up Nicky's list of hate from the book that came with PFAYM and hand it to each band and they come on and see if they can find it just as easy to work out

Haha they've got The Drums on the same bill, Wire won't like that.

For the record, I've not heard The Drums yet, but I think I already know what they sound like.

EDIT: Just been on youtube. Yeah....

I think Nicky should be allowed to do a running commentary for the night. Kind of like Wogan on Eurovision - gradually getting more tipsy and insulting.
