they are promoting a single to be released in December on Oct 29? have they learnt nothing about the ridiculous in advance promo for the last single and how it all fell flat by the time it was actualy released? momentum and the Manics are strangers, are they not?

If the video's ready, they might as well get some airplay for it.

I shouldn't think that this has been planned far in advance, it's probably an opportunistic bit of scheduling to make the best of a dead couple of days in London.

What was said? Anything interesting? Did they show someof the video? I think they should get it sent out to music channels now along with the song to radio stations.

It really wasn't what I expected when I turned the telly on to see if I'd missed the weather this morning.

The bit about him going to see Dr Who live with his family was so sweet.

He'll love it. I took my neice last week and we had a brilliant time. It was funny that the BBC Breakfast presenter was so absolutely clueless about a BBC production.

It was good of him to mention the overseas fans, it doesn't make up for the disappointment, but it's nice to know that the band are really thinking about the fans.

I could have sworn I set my computer to record this last night, D'oh!

Good clip, love the stuff about Nicky singing lol.

OT, Why is BBC Breakfast apparently one of the only programmes not to be on iPlayer? What is that about? They could edit all the repetitive stuff and keep the features and interviews. Weird.

According to that BBC News link, it's singer James Dean Bradford that's ill. That's OK then, isn't it? Problem solved.

Oh, he's been with them since the beginning, according to the press. According to this:- http://www.roomthirteen.com/bands/27..._Bradford.html he played at V festival at the same time as the better known James Dean Bradfield.
